For What Purpose?
There is currently a critical need for individuals and families struggling to provide
fresh, nutritious, food for themselves and their loved ones.
A fruit orchard consisting of 55 apple, cherry, pear, plum, peach, and apricot has been planted. Raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries and various varieties of grapes, which have been proven to thrive in our planting zone, will be added in the spring of 2025. There is a natural abundance of water found in wells, multiple ponds, a beautiful spring, and the Little Colorado River which flows through the property. All of this is within 10 minutes of the town centers of Eagar and Springerville Arizona. Plans are underway to construct high tunnel greenhouse to grow vegetables, herbs, and micro-greens.
Neighbors who are enthused about this vision have volunteered their time, resources, and talents to move this cause forward. Their efforts are greatly appreciated. Each gift of time or money is an act of love.
